There is a total of 2 positions that will be filled from this
posting. Positions are being considered for Salem and
Manager, Design Project Manager
In this position, you will oversee a team of design project
managers, lighting design project managers, designers and/or design
technicians responsible for providing electrical distribution and
transmission designs for line crews to install electrical services
that meet the customer's requirements. As such, you will provide
technical management support for the team, ensuring that objectives
are met, and all relevant standards/procedures are being followed.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following knowledge
and skills required for the position:
- Applicable codes relating to electrical service and/or lighting
delivery (e.g., NEC, NESC).
- Public Utility Commission (PUC) and Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) regulations pertaining to pole standards.
- Service and Design policies and procedures.
- Overhead, underground, transmission and construction
- Corporate software tools used in Design and Engineering
- Project management concepts involved in planning and executing
- Common engineering concepts and principles.
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) systems.
- Standard budgeting practices.
- Standard financial statements and utility economics.
This position typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering
technology, project management, design or other related field or
equivalent experience. Eight or more years in transmission and
distribution design or in a related field and project management or
supervisory experience are strongly preferred.
