Job Description Job Description We are looking for a personable, experienced HVAC service technician who loves to problem-solve to join our team. You'll be responsible for a variety of work orders, visiting homes and businesses to work on HVAC, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and control systems. Systems including Gas Furnaces, Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Gas Fireplaces, & Ductless Heat Pumps. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to identify and isolate problems, is familiar with using hand and power tools, and has strong communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired, replaced, or installed, and why. When necessary, you’ll upsell customers on preventative maintenance plans and indoor air quality products and services. Ready to join our growing HVAC company? Apply today! Compensation: $35 - $40 hourly Responsibilities: Understand and employ electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams Locate and correct HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement Execute maintenance of HVAC equipment for homes & businesses Qualifications: Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record Physically able to lift 50lbs unassisted or 100 lbs with help High school diploma or GED required Must pass a drug test About Company At Rice Heating, we strive to be the leading HVAC company in the Corvallis and Albany area.
