Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform a wide variety of facility maintenance tasks. This role involves plumbing, light construction, painting, re-lamping of light fixtures, minor welding, and fabrication. You will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and receive guidance from experienced technicians. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with equipment relocation and installations, performing preventive maintenance according to the CMMS schedule, and industrial battery care. Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of facility maintenance tasks including plumbing, light construction, painting, re-lamping of light fixtures, minor welding, and fabrication. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidance from experienced technicians. Assist with equipment relocation and installations. Perform preventive maintenance according to CMMS schedule. Paint offices and touch up painting of equipment and building structures. Assist with preventive maintenance on conveyor, forklifts, sortation systems, and automated packaging equipment. Conduct industrial battery care and change batteries in fleet equipment. Conduct plumbing repairs for leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, and cleanup. Assist with clearing of snow and ice during inclement weather. Essential Skills Maintenance technician experience Mechanical skills Electrical skills HVAC knowledge Welding Carpentry Plumbing Preventive maintenance Repair Electrical troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of two years of relevant maintenance experience for Level 1 Maintenance Tech role 4 years of experience for Level 2 Maintenance Tech role Fabrication experience is a plus Why Work Here? While the environment can be very loud, it is organized. Employees must be willing to follow safety procedures and regulations. Shifts available are: Day shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:40 PM, and Swing shift from Monday to Thursday, 12:00 PM to 10:40 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Bend, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $42.00/hr.
