Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Special
Education Teacher specializing in Life Skills for a K-3 classroom
within an elementary school setting. This contract position extends
through the current school year, from ASAP until May 22, 2026. The
role requires in-person attendance in the Sandy, UT area and is
ideal for professionals holding a valid Utah Special Education
license or certification. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized
instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs in a
Life Skills classroom. Develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary
teams. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to
meet individual goals. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom
environment conducive to student growth. Maintain detailed records
in compliance with educational standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid Utah Special Education
teaching license or certification is mandatory. Experience working
with elementary-aged students in special education, especially in
Life Skills, is highly preferred. Strong communication and
organizational skills. Commitment to student-centered educational
