The Digital Marketing Specialist applies expertise to achieve Salem Health's digital marketing and strategic objectives. This is achieved through the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives. The Digital Marketing Specialist leverages their experience and knowledge of the digital landscape to effectively manage projects, set measureable objectives, report outcomes, and work with clients to ensure quality, satisfaction, and completion of activities on time and on budget.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
--- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or related field required.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in the field of digital marketing
- Experience interpreting analytics, campaign management, tracking and report design
- Experience with market research design preferred
- Experience managing digital marketing programs including social media, SEO, paid search, display ads
- Expertise working with multiple data sources (site analytics, media, email, transactional, etc.) to analyze performance of campaigns and marketing efforts and make recommendations for improvements
- Exposure to Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, ExactTarget, etc.) and their reporting suites
- Familiarity with CRM systems like SalesForce.com
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Include:
--- Custom configuration of Google Analytics including but not limited to creating filters, event tracking and goal set up
- Google AdWords, Google Analytics knowledge
- Ability to distill actionable and appropriate recommendations from data and then communicate this in a clear and easy-to-understand way
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.), and social analytics tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain positive internal and external customer relationships in meeting agreed-upon deadlines with quality results
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to think critically, independently, and creatively
Core Job Functions Include:
Manages Salem Health digital tactics associated with marketing plans and projects, as assigned, in collaboration with the Digital Analyst. Ensures organizational objectives are incorporated with specific marketing tactics designed to attain measureable results; Considers competition, barriers and opportunities in tactic development; Identifies innovative tactics according to best-practice to ensure optimal outcomes. Manages digital resources, and monitors metrics to effectively report results; Ensures effective and efficient results and outcomes fulfillment through communication and collaboration with the Marketing team and external vendors, as needed.
Monitors industry trends in digital marketing, campaign optimization and measurement, and appropriately applies new knowledge to planned or proposed projects.
Responsible for implementation of external marketing email campaigns utilizing marketing automation tools (CRM/PRM). Collaborates with Digital Analyst to ensure data integrity, effective campaign flow, data capture, follow up and feedback.
Ensures the measurement of the impact of projects against organization/department objectives. Recommends changes to strategy or specific digital media to resolve issues or poor performance.
Manages online Salem Health Insights Community research schedule and implementation of various communications with Community members. Ensures a minimum of twice monthly touchpoints to maintain Community member engagement, including delivery of surveys and feedback reports. Works with Marketing team and vendor to develop research questionnaires for delivery via the online community platform. Enhances member portal by providing relevant information to Insights Community in an effort to engage and achieve organizational objectives. Communicates with various internal customers regarding the capabilities of the platform to assist in achieving objectives.
Maintains good rapport with customers and can knowledgeably discuss technical factors to ensure effective production and delivery of finished project to fulfill request. Exceeds customer expectations. Builds effective working relationships throughout the organization with managers, staff, physicians, customers and vendors. Provides routine updates to Marketing team relative to areas of responsibility. Notifies appropriate department leadership of potential problems, complaints, or other issues related to their project. Supports the mission and priorities of Salem Health, including compliance, confidentiality and other required behaviors.
Working Conditions Include:
Frequent standing, constant sitting, moving about work area, walk-level surface, & keyboard operation. Must have ability for clear and audible speaking voice, correctable vision, ability to distinguish colors and shades, and ability to hear.
