Residential Area Administrative Spec.
PCL's Residential Team is currently recruiting for a Residential
Area Administrative Specialist.
Closing Date: Open until filled
Location: Marion/Polk Counties
Type of Position: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt. Includes
occasional evenings and weekends are required, and includes
occasional direct support assignments, when/where needed.
Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required
Experience Requirements: Six month of experience in the field of
I/DD is preferred. Successful OIS IF certification (Oregon
Intervention System - Individual Focus) within 60 days of being
hired - training is provided.
Description & Details: PCL's Residential Department is currently
recruiting for a Residential Area Administrative Specialist. A
successful Area Administrative Specialist is the 'glue' of each
area of service. They are well versed in all the agency's processes
and procedures. They are detail oriented and able to juggle
multiple and competing priorities. They have not only a task
oriented focus but, as well, find and take advantage of teaching
moments. The Area Administrative Specialist provides whatever
support is needed, at the moment, to ensure that Service Team
Coordinators are able to focus on their most important priority,
the people we support.
Successful Candidate will be:
Passionate: Able to motivate others with the belief that the people
we support deserve the life of their choice.
Creative: Able to come up with creative ideas to overcome any
roadblocks.
Self-Motivated: See what needs to be done and does it, takes on new
tasks, and learns new skills, as necessary.
Consistent: Able to manage a diverse schedule, successful juggling
of competing priorities
Understanding: Seek first to understand before being understood,
presuming positive intent, solution focused
Flexible: Some evenings and weekends depending on the need of the
area

background investigation, which includes employment, education and

Compensation and Benefits:
$16.50 + $.50/hour differential

PCL's Residential Team is currently recruiting for Limited Duration
Residential Area Administrative Specialists.
These positions will be supervised by an Area Director or assigned
supervisor and will be for six months in duration. In six months, a
determination of the position will occur, to extend it or end
it.
Closing Date: February 21, 2022 at noon. Interviews for selected
candidates will occur on the afternoon of February 24, 2022.
