  • Answering phonesAppealing claims for reimbursementVerifying patient benefitsObtaining insurance authorizations and referralsSending claims, posting payments, appeals, accounts receivable Processing medical record requests
  • Re-bill, upload, and correct claims in the clearinghouseQualifications:
    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • Experience in a billing office and or medical clinic setting, insurance follow-up, and coding and verification
    • Experience in working with a large volume of medical electronic billing, collections, all aspects of the accounts receivable cycle, and insurance coding and verification preferred
    • Proficient in Word and Excel
    • Previous experience with medical software required
    • Team player with a focus on excellent customer service
    • Energetic and able to multi-task
