We are a growing well established dynamic Salem, OR CPA firm with a diverse client base that has a great opportunity for an experienced staff accountant to join our team!We offer a culture that understands a work-life balance and a place where people enjoy coming to work!Responsibilities: --- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and other tax returns --- Assist clients with tax and accounting questions --- Communicate with clients providing tax planning and tax savings strategies --- Assist CPAs with special projectsQualifications: --- A minimum of 3 years' experience in preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses --- Team player --- Strong communication and interpersonal skills --- Willing and able to work directly with clients --- Experience with QuickBooks, CCH Engagement and Lacerte tax software a plus --- Detail and deadline-oriented --- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCompensation: --- Generous salary (DOE) --- 100% paid health and dental ( Providence Gold plan) --- 5% matching 401(k) plan ( immediate vesting when eligible) --- Annual bonus --- Commission Program --- Flexible paid time off starting at 3 weeks PTO --- Paid holidays --- Potential for a hybrid remote/in office work schedule --- Annual employee parties and team building eventsJob Type: Full-timePay: $30 - $40 per hourBenefits:
