Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking to fill the position of the
Accounting Technician 3, as the accounts receivable technician, in
the Financial Services Department. Your role will work with
technical and professional staff to carry out various accounting
functions for the agency. As the accounts receivable technician,
you will be primarily responsible for processing accounts
receivable timely and accurately, which include: processing
deposits for all facilities and Central Office; establishing
accounts receivable for youth payroll, agency contracts and
overpayments. Other duties and responsibilities includes:
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office environment, and may work with the
following office equipment: computer, laser printer, phone,
calculator, photocopy machine, fax machine. Evening or weekend work
may be required to meet monthly or quarterly accounting and
reporting deadlines. Occasional travel may be required including
overnight.

All OYA employees are required to submit to a two-step TB test to
